Not every dog needs a 4-week stay
Some dogs just need a safe place to stay while you're away. Some are puppies who need a good start. Some have one big goal. Here's everything else we do, what it costs, and who it's right for.
Boarding
Going out of town? Leave them with the crew
$75a night
Boarding is $75 a night, with a 3-day minimum for first-time guests.
$60a night
Board and train grads stay for $60 a night.
2+weeks
Staying 2 weeks or longer? Call us and we'll work out a longer-stay rate.
What their stay looks like
- Their own room. Every dog sleeps in their own 5 by 12 foot room, with other dogs nearby for company.
- People close by. Four of our crew live on-site, about 15 feet from the dogs.
- A vet next door. If anything comes up, help is right there.
- What to bring. Their food and anything special, like medication. Their own bed is welcome too.
- By appointment. We'll set your drop-off and pickup times on the call.
Has your dog bitten someone, or does your dog get aggressive with people? No judgment, we work with dogs like that. Just tell us before drop-off so we can plan for them and keep everyone safe, your dog included.
Want them to come home with better manners, too? That's board and train, and grads board for $60 a night after.
As stress free as could be
"Had my dog here for boarding when I unexpectedly had to leave town. Andrew kept me up to date the whole time with my little guy and made his time there as stress free as could be"
Puppies
Start right and skip years of untraining
Picture your puppy at a year old: walking beside you instead of dragging you, saying hi without jumping, settling at your feet while you eat. That's the dog we start building now.
We usually start at 16 weeks. Younger is fine once they've had their shots. Puppy training works a little differently from training a grown dog, and we'll walk you through how on the call.
Every stay builds the basics: walking politely on a leash, Sit, Down and Stay, waiting at doors, relaxing on Place, and saying hi without jumping. Longer stays take it into busier places and on toward off-leash work. When your puppy comes home, we teach you everything they learned, with a 1-hour handoff lesson and follow-up sessions that never expire.
4 weeks
$3,950
6 weeks
$5,900
11 weeks
$10,650
Payment plans are available on every program, subject to approval. Compare the programs »
He still has his personality, but now has manners!
"We were nervous about our puppy losing his quirks/personality while he was training, but it was far from that. He still has his personality/quirks but now has manners! The trainers learned his personality and made a plan that would work best for our puppy!"
He was a changed pup!
"I sent over my 4 month pup, Nalu, to his 4 week board and train program, and the results were great!… Nalu had issues with barking, biting, leash pulling, and his recall. When I picked him up after the four weeks, he was a changed pup! No issues of barking, biting, leash pulling was significantly better, and his recall is almost perfect, which is a ton of progress for a young pup."
Private sessions
Rather do lessons? Ask about a spot
We also coach you and your dog together in private sessions. Spots are limited, so ask us what's open.
On the call, we'll tell you honestly whether lessons or a stay would help your dog more.
Special goals
A service dog, a tough behavior problem or one big goal?
These usually run through board and train, with a plan built around your dog. Tell us where you're starting and where you want to end up, and we'll tell you honestly if we're the right fit.
Hoping for a service dog?
Our 6-week program has a service-dog option, and dogs who are ready can earn their service-dog certificate during their stay. Every dog is different, so if yours isn't ready yet, we'll tell you what would get them there.
"…they helped get my dog to the next level to become a service animal…"Eric Peruzzi, Google review
Ask about service dogs »Reactive, aggressive or anxious?
That's board and train work, and the programs and prices are the same as for any other dog. Your dog gets a plan built around what's going on, and you learn how to handle it at home.
How we train »Tell us what's going on »Off-leash freedom?
Off-leash work starts in the 6-week stay and goes furthest in the 11-week stay, with practice in parks and busy public places.
See the 6 and 11-week stays »Sport or working dog?
We train sport and working dogs too. They go through board and train or private sessions, like every other dog, with a plan built around the job you want them to do. Tell us what you're aiming for and we'll tell you honestly what it takes.
Ask about your goal »Not sure which one fits?
That's what the call is for
The consultation is free and there's no pressure. You'll talk with a real person from our crew, and we'll:
- Hear what's going on, in as much detail as you've got
- Tell you what fits your dog: boarding, board and train or lessons
- Walk you through exactly how it would work
- Give you the price and answer every "what if"
No waitlist for board and train.
Trip coming up? New puppy coming home? Tell us your date and we'll plan around it.
Rather text than call? Text "DOGGO" to (760) 400-6704 and we'll take it from there.
Open 6am to 11pm, every day
